Skylark Visits
Whether it's team building & problem solving, cross curricular topic based days, nature days or a place to start your eco-schools journey, the Skylark has it all.
Once booked the site is closed to the public giving you peace of mind and acres of woodland to explore with your mini adventurer's.
School Visits
Stacey can visit schools in the Goole, Howden, Selby & York areas.
Some of the Skylark elements can be delivered in schools, such as a orienteering or outdoor themed parties for celebration events such as the end of SATs.
Also available as part of your PE CPD Stacey can deliver a 6 week block of KS1 Multi-Skills and a 4 week block of quidditch.
Passport 2 Success
Based on the school games values including the new eco-friendly value. Stacey created a passport of activities for Year 7 girls who were struggling to settle in to high school life, that were showing signs of needing a focus or perhaps just needed a little guidance.
The project was named in the top 3 projects of 2022 by Sport England and the Youth Sport Trust at their summer Impact Awards.
New for this year is the Year 6 transition activity passport

Eco-Champions
After the success of last years Passport 2 Success project, Outdoor Ted and DRAX are working together to design and deliver a new schools and families Eco-Champions Passport.
We will be looking for a school to pilot our passport summer term 2023 ready for a September 2023 launch.
About Me
My name is Stacey Howard and I have been involved in education since 1997. I started my journey as an Advanced Teaching Assistant, working my way through a number of roles including being a School Games Organiser for over 45 schools.
Five years ago I decided to peruse my passion for being in the outdoors which is where Outdoor Ted was born.
Not only can being in nature help with mental health & wellbeing but it is a great tool for education.
Our most popular days are our team building and problem solving days but we cover many cross curricular subjects such as The Stone Age and The Great Fire of London.
My greatest achievement came in 2014 when David Beckham, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Darren Campbell declared live on Sky Sports that I was Teacher of the Year. A day I will never forget.
Since then I like to think of new projects and my latest one, Passport 2 Success was voted to be in the Top 3 projects as part of Sports Englands Impact awards for 2022.
