Passport 2 Success
Following on from the success of last years Commonwealth Passport Project, I am happy to announce we are re-launching it again this year for Year 7 pupils and brand new for this year an 8 week primary passport too.
This academic year it will be known as Passport 2 Success and we are happy to confirm the amazing team at NYOLS Bewerley Park Outdoor Education Centre will once again be supporting the project, giving selected pupils life skills along with life long memories to kick start their journey at Secondary School.
As with last year all the activities will link in to the School Games Values and pupils will experience some directed activities as well as completing some of the activities with family and friends.
Last year our project was recognised as one of the top 3 projects in the UK by Sport England and Youth Sport Trust at the Impact awards in August 2022. By using pupils voice we were able to determine 61% of pupils said they felt more confident doing activities on their own or with friends with a further 39% of pupils saying they were both ready but also still a little nervous.
74% of pupils said they were ready to try more challenging activities with a further 26% said they think they are ready.
A huge part of our project is to collect pupils voice.You can see their story on the video below.

Passport 2 Success Secondary
After the success of last years Commonwealth Passport Success. We have redesigned the pack for 2022/2023 with a new name of Passport 2 Success.
Click on the passport photo to the left of this box to access this years activity booklet. The booklet contains an activity for each of the 7 School Games Values.
Introducing this year the brand new ECO-FRIENDLY school games value which we have paired up with team work to launch a new activity.

Passport 2 Success Primary
The teachers pack tells you everything you need to know about how to deliver and what to deliver as part of the Primary Passport 2 Success project.
It includes 8 sessions that link to the school games values along with themes and hints and possible questions to ask pupils as part of pupil voice. The pack doesn't contain all the session content as that will be dependant on the person delivering but it does tell you what to cover.

Each pupils can have their own passport, simply print out and give to each child or save a copy for each pupil onto your school network and allow them to fill the passport online contributing to the eco-friendly school games value.
Each week pupils will achieve a new value. You can use the passport to collect pupil voice.
We also suggest collecting vital breaking barriers pupils voice in session 1 and again at the celebration event to see which barriers they have overcome.
You could always make your own and just use this one as inspiration.
